FAQs — ACGME ≥1 Year

Do I need USMLE Step 3 before we start?

Yes. For this path, Steps 1, 2, and 3 are required prior to application planning and jurisdiction selection.

Can I go straight to Florida?

Candidates with ≥2 years of ACGME residency may be eligible for a direct Florida route. With exactly 1 ACGME year, we typically finalize a full U.S. license in the most efficient jurisdiction first, then activate Florida.

What documents do you need from me?

ECFMG cert, USMLE transcript (Steps 1–3), ACGME training verifications, IDs, CV, references, and any prior license/registration records.

Can you help if I have gaps or an attempt history?

Yes—selection and sequencing matter more in those cases. We’ll be candid about realistic timelines and options.
